As a hearing aid wearer, I got ridiculously excited when reading Ross Montgomery’s ‘Max & the Millions’. Over time I’ve been researching other inclusive books so that we can signpost children to books with characters like themselves.
I realise that this does not cover everything, but it’s a start. I’m open to suggestions of new categories and book recommendations.
I hope it’s useful.

This is a great resource! Thank you for taking the time to put it together. Also a fan of Max and the Millions.

Thank you for this. For “Deafness” I suggest ‘Macy McMillan and the Rainbow Goddess’ by Shari Green and ‘You don’t know everything, Jilly P.’ by Alex Gino.
